Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

1. CAN DEVELOPMENT

• Lead the development and integration of Controller Area Network (CAN) Communication protocol for various automotive applications e.g BMS, CCM, Infotainment system.
• Design and Implement CAN network configurations, including message scheduling and Bus arbitration.
• Perform CAN network diagnostics, fault handling and ensure robust communication between ECUs.

2. Basic Software AUTOSAR

• Develop and maintain AUTOSAR based basic software modules ensuring, compliance with AUTOSAR standards and guidelines.
• Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW stack components, including COM, PDU Router, CanIf, CAN and Diagnostic Event Manager (DEM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AUTOSAR software components into the overall vehicle architecture.

3. Network Management

• Design and implement network management strategies for automotive systems, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
• Configure and manage network management protocols, including Startup, Shutdown and Sleep/wake- Up sequences.
• Perform Network performance analysis and optimization to meet stringent automotive industry standards.
• Handle Partial Networking to ensure power saving in the network.

4. Requirement Writing

• Develop detailed software requirements for Level 3 and Level 4 automotive software components, ensuring clarity, completeness and traceability.
• Collaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to capture and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture and design.
• Use Doors Next Gen to maintain and track requirements changes and their impact on software development lifecycles.

5. Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

• Support functional safety activities in accordance with ISO 26262 standards including hazard analysis and risk assessment (HARA).
• Assist in the development of safety requirements and safety cases for automotive software components.

6. Agile Methodology

• Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional agile team to deliver quality software within define sprint cycle.

7. V-Model Development

9. Unit Testing and Development

10. Documentation and reporting
